PROJECTS “The Delegation’s Note: Each
trip project has the host country name in it. Objective Identify and fund in each host country a project that creates
life-changing opportunities for women and ensures our continuous presence in
the host country. Process Prior to and during each trip delegates identify and suggest
projects for the host country. The president determines a procedure for
deciding upon the project. The project is announced at our final meeting with
the host-country women. Accountability The president is responsible for ensuring that the project
occurs, is successful, and does create life-changing opportunities for women
in the host country. She can also assign responsibility for the project to a
delegate or small task force. The president is, however, ultimately responsible for ensuring
achievement of our goal of creating lasting change as a result of our trip. Contributions A $250.00 or more
contribution is required from each delegate on the trip. Delegates from any previous
trip can also voluntarily contribute any amount. No amount collected for a “Delegation Opportunity
Project” can be used as a part of the Delegation Treasury. |
