Mrs. Pamela Wayne hosted a tea in Buenos Aires, for the Delegation for Friendship Among Women from the United States, to promote friendship and understanding among women.

The prominent group of women leaders in such fields as government, education, law and medicine have come to Argentina to meet similar women leaders from government, business and the NGO community to discuss ways they can work together to support each others’ efforts.

Ambassador Wayne also met with the group and congratulated them on their initiative, emphasizing the Embassy's efforts to promote people-to-people links, which are critically important to strengthening mutual understanding.
